Btw I just noticed you can see your other Original in the reflection of the hubcaps, cool effect.
This one is correct now Alvy. I still need to put the collared spindles back on it. I have them but am to lazy to start on it. I noticed the reflection after I took the picture also. It's cool but I didn't do it on purpose. I think I will just keep it.

I think it's worth 1300.00 Cubfan? But it's hard for me to sell a Original. I am picking 2 more up in 2 weeks. One of them is a original recoil. I will restore it, and it will join the other 2 I am keeping. The other one is just a plain jane and I will try to get 500.00 for it. From what I see around here, a nice plain Original normally sells for that.

It is, but like Mike says on American Pickers, "what's $100 between friends?"

Lol, I didn't know that guy, but now it's off. I decided to finish it up and keep it.

Good idea Ronnie, keep it.
THEN you can get them decals off the hood, and install the "correct" ones, and fill those extra holes in the grill. "Tough crowd"
Just hacking on yeh.

I don't know about the decals Master Of Todd, but I did fill the holes on the grill surround. Don't tell anyone, but I just put JB weld in them, made it flat and repainted it. I hate to have to paint that hood. And, I have looked at the Original decals in the book, 50yrs bla bla bla. and these look better than Hunter?

Cub Cadet is a premium line of outdoor power equipment, established in 1961 as part of International Harvester. During the 1960s, IH initiated an entirely new line of lawn and garden equipment aimed at the owners rural homes with large yards and private gardens. There were a wide variety of Cub Cadet branded and after-market attachments available; including mowers, blades, snow blowers, front loaders, plows, carts, etc. Cub Cadet advertising at that time harped on their thorough testing by "boys - acknowledged by many as the world's worst destructive force!". Cub Cadets became known for their dependability and rugged construction.

MTD Products, Inc. of Cleveland, Ohio purchased the Cub Cadet brand from International Harvester in 1981. Cub Cadet was held as a wholly owned subsidiary for many years following this acquisition, which allowed them to operate independently. Recently, MTD has taken a more aggressive role and integrated Cub Cadet into its other lines of power equipment.
