Thanks so much for your input and help. I still have it listed locally. havent taken the time to list it on ebay or the forum. Not that vital that I get rid of it. I would like to get top dollar and if I cant I will just have to keep it darn it.

Of coarse If I end up keeping it I will be hanging around here. I am interested in what kind of tilling equipment I can put on the back as we have a large garden every year. I usually pay someone to plow it for me but its not to large to not use this machine to do the job with the correct equipment which I am not familiar with. I assume I would have to attach a powered tiller to the back since there is no live PTO on the back.

There's a rear mounted tiller that runs off the tractor engine via a long belt just like the one that runs the mower deck only longer to reach the rear where there a gear box right angle drive that intern runs the tiller. I know it sound's like alot and it kinda is BUT what a job it does! I have a 682 set up for tilling and that's all I use it for. The Tiller never comes off the tractor.

I have been kind of looking around for a tiller as I still have the machine.
Any Ideas on where I can find one and what model/models do I look for for my 782?

Thanks

Paul

Any more questions on tillers lets start a new thread in the attachment section.

Paul, either model of the #1 or #2 tiller will work but the lower pulley will need to be 5/8 for the long belt.

Here's the links for the tillers.

Cub Cadet is a premium line of outdoor power equipment, established in 1961 as part of International Harvester. During the 1960s, IH initiated an entirely new line of lawn and garden equipment aimed at the owners rural homes with large yards and private gardens. There were a wide variety of Cub Cadet branded and after-market attachments available; including mowers, blades, snow blowers, front loaders, plows, carts, etc. Cub Cadet advertising at that time harped on their thorough testing by "boys - acknowledged by many as the world's worst destructive force!". Cub Cadets became known for their dependability and rugged construction.

MTD Products, Inc. of Cleveland, Ohio purchased the Cub Cadet brand from International Harvester in 1981. Cub Cadet was held as a wholly owned subsidiary for many years following this acquisition, which allowed them to operate independently. Recently, MTD has taken a more aggressive role and integrated Cub Cadet into its other lines of power equipment.
