After using mine for a few years, here are some thoughts;
-I should have angle cut the short pipe to lift the T up higher off the ground -I traded out the 14" discs for 12" as a result of ground clearance issues and it works better (anyone want to by 14" discs and shanks?) -down pressure is needed, so be sure you don't float too much. Otherwise, it's an easy project, doesn't costs too much and works well. I do like the idea of a bedder a foot or so behind the discs. |

Agri supply carries a good line of cultivating parts. If you are not familiar with the IH offset series tractors, do a little research on Cubs-140's.
If you are building a cultivator make sure the clamps work with your bar and shank size. Here is a link to something like you want, you'll have to figure out the specifics to your application. http://mower-blades.agrisupply.com/s...0hillers&asug= http://www.agrisupply.com/lay-off-cl...06/&sid=&eid=/ |

Cub Cadet is a premium line of outdoor power equipment, established in 1961 as part of International Harvester. During the 1960s, IH initiated an entirely new line of lawn and garden equipment aimed at the owners rural homes with large yards and private gardens. There were a wide variety of Cub Cadet branded and after-market attachments available; including mowers, blades, snow blowers, front loaders, plows, carts, etc. Cub Cadet advertising at that time harped on their thorough testing by "boys - acknowledged by many as the world's worst destructive force!". Cub Cadets became known for their dependability and rugged construction.
MTD Products, Inc. of Cleveland, Ohio purchased the Cub Cadet brand from International Harvester in 1981. Cub Cadet was held as a wholly owned subsidiary for many years following this acquisition, which allowed them to operate independently. Recently, MTD has taken a more aggressive role and integrated Cub Cadet into its other lines of power equipment.
