Well, the drag strip just south of town seems to be going wild every weekend and that's a hell of a lot more expensive a hobby.....er tax write off for some, than these puny tractors.

Would have bought them outside feebay if I saw them listed here, figured from the name it was you.

I can get CC parts at cost + 5%, so probably similar, but didn't want to wait on the dealer nonsense

They are Chinese, not a problem for the tractor that I'm putting these on since I don't run it much but it may matter to some.

They have used those bearings since they started offering 1" spindles and Shep was a pup.
Nothing new here.

Yup. I was asking what the OEM of the NAPA bearing was.

Update on the NAPA wheel bearings above. The packaging says "assembled in China" however when I actually pulled the bearing out, they are Lutco USA bearings. Not sure what that's about but I won't complain.

Cub Cadet is a premium line of outdoor power equipment, established in 1961 as part of International Harvester. During the 1960s, IH initiated an entirely new line of lawn and garden equipment aimed at the owners rural homes with large yards and private gardens. There were a wide variety of Cub Cadet branded and after-market attachments available; including mowers, blades, snow blowers, front loaders, plows, carts, etc. Cub Cadet advertising at that time harped on their thorough testing by "boys - acknowledged by many as the world's worst destructive force!". Cub Cadets became known for their dependability and rugged construction.

MTD Products, Inc. of Cleveland, Ohio purchased the Cub Cadet brand from International Harvester in 1981. Cub Cadet was held as a wholly owned subsidiary for many years following this acquisition, which allowed them to operate independently. Recently, MTD has taken a more aggressive role and integrated Cub Cadet into its other lines of power equipment.
