Foam filled tires.... I bought a used golf cart and drove it 3 years before removing the well worn rear tires..... only to find those to be very heavy... foam filled!
What is the cost of having rear tires filled with foam?

foam filling cost is based on the volume of foam they take. any tire dealer that does earthmover or industrial tires can foam fill them for you. pretty much any commercial tire dealer. be advised these tires need to be cut off the rim when they are worn out. the ride is compromised since the air cushion provided by the tire is removed..basically you have solid tires after foam filling. usually they drill a hole in the tire as a vent and fill the liguid foam through the valve - cures in about 24-48 hours.

my dealer charged 45 dollars a piece for my 26x12x12 tires

Default Fluid is drained. Baldwin installed

Not too bad once I removed a tire .

Old fluid dark and stinky.

Not cloudy

Will refill via filler tube and a harbor freight’s hand pump?

Any tips for bleeding air? Or just fill and drive and steer and lift

Thx

You can buy it at most Cub Cadet and Case-IH Dealers.

Exclamation

Just an FYI..

The owner of Cub Cadet Specialties states that the 737-3025 Cub Cadet hydraulic transmission fluid is not Hytran, and is much inferior to it. He is the only one that I have come across that states this. A spec sheet was not provided, nor one could be sourced.

The CaseIH Hytran and New Holland Mastertran Fluid are one in the same.

That's good to know.

1. I am not the owner of the forum! I sold it a few years ago.
2. I NEVER said the word inferior!
3. Cub Cadet/MTD hydrostatic transmission fluid is NOT in any way related to or equivalent to Hy-Tran.
4. Hy-Tran is the ONLY hydrosatic transmission fluid with water encapsulating capabilities on the market.
5. I have and can produce specs sheets on any fluid people would like, but there's no point what so ever in doing so as anyone that knows what's what, doesn't need that info that most wouldn't understand if they seen it.

All that being said you or anyone else can try and beat that dead horse all they want, but it doesn't change the facts!

Yes, Charlie Proctor is the owner of CC Specialties.

Now, back to the topic of Transmission Fluid.

Cub Cadet is a premium line of outdoor power equipment, established in 1961 as part of International Harvester. During the 1960s, IH initiated an entirely new line of lawn and garden equipment aimed at the owners rural homes with large yards and private gardens. There were a wide variety of Cub Cadet branded and after-market attachments available; including mowers, blades, snow blowers, front loaders, plows, carts, etc. Cub Cadet advertising at that time harped on their thorough testing by "boys - acknowledged by many as the world's worst destructive force!". Cub Cadets became known for their dependability and rugged construction.

MTD Products, Inc. of Cleveland, Ohio purchased the Cub Cadet brand from International Harvester in 1981. Cub Cadet was held as a wholly owned subsidiary for many years following this acquisition, which allowed them to operate independently. Recently, MTD has taken a more aggressive role and integrated Cub Cadet into its other lines of power equipment.
