He said he had spark in three different posts. I guess it's easy to miss if you're talking instead of listening.
Little hard to ferret out because of no punctuation. I'll let the one man, five piece band contribute now. |

Ok, how do you know you have spark? Did you use a spark tester or did you pull the plug and touch it to the head? How did the spark look? Was it nice and bright or was it weak?

ok, since it has a magneto we can rule out timing unless the key sheared on the flywheel but there's a few step to take before we go there. id pull the carb and take the bowl off to see if its full of crud, id use carb cleaner and compressed air to blow through the passages to ensure its not plugged and then put it back on.

Yeah, I'm sure Tim read where he said he has spark, but like me, he wants to make sure he tested right. You can have spark, but that doesn't mean it's good spark. You know that, I'm sure. I think Tim is doing a fine job! Not sure why you are making snide comments about him being a one man, five piece band. |

Cub Cadet is a premium line of outdoor power equipment, established in 1961 as part of International Harvester. During the 1960s, IH initiated an entirely new line of lawn and garden equipment aimed at the owners rural homes with large yards and private gardens. There were a wide variety of Cub Cadet branded and after-market attachments available; including mowers, blades, snow blowers, front loaders, plows, carts, etc. Cub Cadet advertising at that time harped on their thorough testing by "boys - acknowledged by many as the world's worst destructive force!". Cub Cadets became known for their dependability and rugged construction.
MTD Products, Inc. of Cleveland, Ohio purchased the Cub Cadet brand from International Harvester in 1981. Cub Cadet was held as a wholly owned subsidiary for many years following this acquisition, which allowed them to operate independently. Recently, MTD has taken a more aggressive role and integrated Cub Cadet into its other lines of power equipment.
