No not a V, just a simple vertical handle similar to a car door handle, without a push button of course.

I don’t know that much about them, I think it was filco that made the V handle. Kind of the unicorn of vintage refrigerators.

So if you will have one IH fridge Farmall colors and the other one Cub Cadet colors.....
You will have to keep fullsize cans of beer in the Farmall one and the smaller 8oz cans in the Cub Cadet one. |

That's really cool old fridge! I hope it runs and works well for you and be sure to let us know when you get it full. Good old piece of IH nostalgia there, my brother in law has an old side bottle dispense coke machine, the best thing ever! Glad to see you taking the time to work with it and clean it up.

Cub Cadet is a premium line of outdoor power equipment, established in 1961 as part of International Harvester. During the 1960s, IH initiated an entirely new line of lawn and garden equipment aimed at the owners rural homes with large yards and private gardens. There were a wide variety of Cub Cadet branded and after-market attachments available; including mowers, blades, snow blowers, front loaders, plows, carts, etc. Cub Cadet advertising at that time harped on their thorough testing by "boys - acknowledged by many as the world's worst destructive force!". Cub Cadets became known for their dependability and rugged construction.
MTD Products, Inc. of Cleveland, Ohio purchased the Cub Cadet brand from International Harvester in 1981. Cub Cadet was held as a wholly owned subsidiary for many years following this acquisition, which allowed them to operate independently. Recently, MTD has taken a more aggressive role and integrated Cub Cadet into its other lines of power equipment.
