Update...
I know its not a "real" cub, but its what I have for now until I can find what I want and have the money to pay for it. You guys helped me out with the other stuff so I thought Id post an update. The 1995 2140 got tinkered with today. I had mentioned earlier that I felt the transmission had lost some "umph" over the years and have read several post of owners "shimming" the clutch to aid in this problem. Well I ordered 2 of the 0.005 washers from partstree and they arrived today. Removed the rear cover on the clutch assembly, pulled the bearing, intalled the washers and put it back together. Voila!!! Its like it was when my dad brought this thing home 15 years ago, and took a total of 25 minutes. Getting the fender off and on is a bit of a pain. Total cost was 15 bucks (thanks to shipping) but better than the 1000 bucks cub wants to fix this issue. Im sure it wont last as long as a complete clutch rebuild but well see how long it holds up. I think if I can get another couple years out of it will be well worth it. Thanks again OCC
