I don't suppose you have the serial number recorded somewhere??
Every tractor I have, as soon as it hits the ground at my place, I record the serial # on a card along w/any other info on the machine. Then when ever I do maintenance or repairs of any sort, that info gets recorded as well. So when/if I ever sell a Cub, all that info is there for the new owner. There are usually a lot of Cubs show up at local shows and plow days, you could keep an eye out for the numbers, all you would need are the last 6 digits. There will be a ton of Cubs at the Red Power Roundup in Des Moines this next June 16/17 at the fair grounds. Good Luck! |

That sucks! I'd be mad as heck! H shouldn't have left it outside, but it's still the thiefs fault. As few years ago I was able a scrap yard selling some old crap and a guy came in looking for some old tractors and stuff his step son stole and they had them! You should have seen the s rappers face! Hope you find your 1200! I'll check missouri c-list.

Finding it would be one thing, proving it's yours would be quite another w/o any numbers or records of any kind.
Does the dealer in question have any records of what was done to it while at his shop? Had you paid for the repairs yet? If not, is he demanding payment now? |

Yes, he has records of the repairs he did. We both told the sheriff the same way to identify it. It has a unique identification that makes it stick out like a sore thumb. I had a picture of the serial number on my phone from when I was trying to pinpoint the year of its making. The crappy thing is, I deleted 2 weeks before it was stolen! I'm still kicking myself for that.

Cub Cadet is a premium line of outdoor power equipment, established in 1961 as part of International Harvester. During the 1960s, IH initiated an entirely new line of lawn and garden equipment aimed at the owners rural homes with large yards and private gardens. There were a wide variety of Cub Cadet branded and after-market attachments available; including mowers, blades, snow blowers, front loaders, plows, carts, etc. Cub Cadet advertising at that time harped on their thorough testing by "boys - acknowledged by many as the world's worst destructive force!". Cub Cadets became known for their dependability and rugged construction.
MTD Products, Inc. of Cleveland, Ohio purchased the Cub Cadet brand from International Harvester in 1981. Cub Cadet was held as a wholly owned subsidiary for many years following this acquisition, which allowed them to operate independently. Recently, MTD has taken a more aggressive role and integrated Cub Cadet into its other lines of power equipment.
