That's pretty cool Mike! Did you sell it to someone for use or another collector? I'm sure people that use that hitch are out there, but all the tillers I have seen are cat 0 hook up. To buy that hitch when I was looking would have been more than I paid for the tiller and I would have needed get the IH 3 point too. The cat 0 was cheaper for me.

Originally, not very much. I shimmed the implement relief valve so I'm getting about 640 psi instead of the original 515 (spec is 500-625 psi). My guess is it would lift 250 lbs (give or take) with 15" of travel. I've drilled another set of holes in the lift arms (and plan a middle hole) to give more force, but less lift travel if I need it one day. The only attachment I have is the 400 tiller, and it does just fine how it is. Feel free to send me one of your rear buckets and I will be glad to borrow a scale and report back with real numbers.

I've got a 3 spool valve with float from a JD in the garage. The plan is for independent deck and rear lift with aux ports. A rear bucket in the mail would be just the motivation needed to finally install it. Bill |

Cub Cadet is a premium line of outdoor power equipment, established in 1961 as part of International Harvester. During the 1960s, IH initiated an entirely new line of lawn and garden equipment aimed at the owners rural homes with large yards and private gardens. There were a wide variety of Cub Cadet branded and after-market attachments available; including mowers, blades, snow blowers, front loaders, plows, carts, etc. Cub Cadet advertising at that time harped on their thorough testing by "boys - acknowledged by many as the world's worst destructive force!". Cub Cadets became known for their dependability and rugged construction.
MTD Products, Inc. of Cleveland, Ohio purchased the Cub Cadet brand from International Harvester in 1981. Cub Cadet was held as a wholly owned subsidiary for many years following this acquisition, which allowed them to operate independently. Recently, MTD has taken a more aggressive role and integrated Cub Cadet into its other lines of power equipment.
