That's the biggest reason I bought it. It was cause it is complete, didn't care to much that it threw a rod. Those are easy to fix

Spent come quality time with the 169, a brush, and a power washer. Has so much grime in it. On the upside it came clean. There are alot of parts that are pretty worn tho and will need servicing. I do have one question for you guys. When I rebuild the engine (threw a rod) should I do a resto mod on it and get some more hp? Or keep it all stock. My 127 is pushing 19hp and I have 600+ hours on it. I wouldn't go crazy of course. Just a Zach kerber machine cam gov1, three angle valve job, polish intake, and relieve the valve seats some. Or just polish intake. Relieve valve seats and run it? Let me know. Should be fun. Can't wait to rebuild another engine for myself

Keep it all stock, as they are rare, looks good, why is it burnt on the grill casting and muffler shield? Guessing it got hot? Mine isn't, I enjoy mine, they are nice tractors.

Yeah the PO didn't take care of it at all and ran it very hot. He ran it till it threw the rod. The amount of dirt and crap on it was astonishing. I'm thinking bout keeping it original definitely. I think when I rebuild my 1650 I will put some performance in it.

I don't see how some performance upgrades will hurt the value, if it was something you could see then I'd avoid it but internal mods shouldn't hurt a thing.

I was kinda wondering why you would want or need the extra power? Just curious, Is it kinda the "Tim the Tool Man Taylor" kind of thing? LOL!
