If I Just dealt with Ralph it was No Problem But his service Manager at Elgin I just want to throttle him

Well There is Johnson Tractor Up In Harvard I use to use them when they were AA Anderson's

Carol stream outdoor Power is 40 plus years old. Current Owner Has owned it over 30 years

Farm & fleet use to Carry Up to the 2500 series at One time But Now they are Limited to the XT2 series In Lawn & Garden XT3 is still the Traditional Dealer and You could not order the 3000 series from them either when That was on the Market. So they are a Little Limited
I do know Max, and am right down the road from his dad/grandpa's on River. Ironically my neighbor/friend is a Mechanic at Johnson Tractor (formerly A A Anderson) which is also a Cub Cadet dealer. I have ties to Farm & Fleet and it's about 12 minutes away from me, so I get a lot from there when I can. At one point Farm & Fleet sold the Yanmar Diesel CC CUT and the UTVs, too!

Do you guys know Sass or Geils farms out that way?

Did Harvard Implement (Buck) change hands again? I haven't been out there in a while. I've been trying to find out if Johnson is getting a CIH contract back in Harvard too.

Sorry off topic

Johnson has had CIH back in Harvard since last January.

Buck Bros just got bought out a few weeks ago.

Know both of those operations.

Shoot, I forgot about his dad's passing. I think his uncle is still on the corner? The folks that bought the original farm are nice, we've crossed paths a lot.

I used to work for Dan in the spring & fall on my days off, when his boys were still young. Jason (his old hired hand) is a good friend of mine.
I worked 1 fall for Geils when the economy crashed. Graduated HS with Jr. Both good families. Miss it out there.

Back on the topic of my 2284, I did some tuneup work on it today and swapped the mower deck for the blower.

https://youtu.be/TURNW6PEv90

It seems to be running better the more I run it. I'll probably start looking at the deck sometime in the next couple of days. It's solid, but will need a few things I think.

That'll happen when you sell, my guess is they want to add it into their hay operation

I'm surprised buck bros wasn't big enough for deere, but corporate world I suppose.

I didn't work for Geils but mostly see the Harvard ones around here

Cub Cadet is a premium line of outdoor power equipment, established in 1961 as part of International Harvester. During the 1960s, IH initiated an entirely new line of lawn and garden equipment aimed at the owners rural homes with large yards and private gardens. There were a wide variety of Cub Cadet branded and after-market attachments available; including mowers, blades, snow blowers, front loaders, plows, carts, etc. Cub Cadet advertising at that time harped on their thorough testing by "boys - acknowledged by many as the world's worst destructive force!". Cub Cadets became known for their dependability and rugged construction.

MTD Products, Inc. of Cleveland, Ohio purchased the Cub Cadet brand from International Harvester in 1981. Cub Cadet was held as a wholly owned subsidiary for many years following this acquisition, which allowed them to operate independently. Recently, MTD has taken a more aggressive role and integrated Cub Cadet into its other lines of power equipment.
