Putting some of the pieces back together today. I bought PPG paint this time. The last couple of times I bought Nason. The PPG paint went on waaaay better. The thing is the two Federal Yellow colors are definitely not the same shade. Guess I'll just park them away from each other....

Question on the hydro suction tube. When I got this tractor it had this on it for a suction tube. Drove fine, mowed fine, no leaks. It's not the factory one, but I'm wondering if I should replace. Why is the factory one so long?

Looking good! Thanks for keeping us in the loop.
What kind of painting mask/breathing apparatus do you use? I'm assuming with the PPG paint, you're using hardener. |

This is what I use. I believe they call this a charcoal filter. I use it with a pre filter. ( not pictured) . I love the full face respirator, it doesn’t hurt my nose like the half face respirators. Ive been painting as a hobby for about three years now. Totally self taught, and I’ve made every mistake I think a person can. Including thinking a blue bandana would be a “good enough respirator”.....the activator /hardener used for single stage paint is bad,bad stuff. Good ventilation, covering as much of exposed skin as possible and leaving your respirator on at all times is a must. Just my 2 cents. I’m sure there’s other people on this forum that know waaaay more than me about painting.

Put fins on the line like a 2 stage air compressor, and it will really cool. Do we need it? that's a big debatable subject. ----Depends on what one is doing with the tractor. |

Finally an answer, thank you ol’George. That makes sense now that I think about it. The longer tube allows fluid to cool before it makes its return trip. Not sure what the duties of the 105 will be, probably just a run around tractor. Pulling a trailer, disc , plow. Keeping the 125 on mowing duty.

Cub Cadet is a premium line of outdoor power equipment, established in 1961 as part of International Harvester. During the 1960s, IH initiated an entirely new line of lawn and garden equipment aimed at the owners rural homes with large yards and private gardens. There were a wide variety of Cub Cadet branded and after-market attachments available; including mowers, blades, snow blowers, front loaders, plows, carts, etc. Cub Cadet advertising at that time harped on their thorough testing by "boys - acknowledged by many as the world's worst destructive force!". Cub Cadets became known for their dependability and rugged construction.
MTD Products, Inc. of Cleveland, Ohio purchased the Cub Cadet brand from International Harvester in 1981. Cub Cadet was held as a wholly owned subsidiary for many years following this acquisition, which allowed them to operate independently. Recently, MTD has taken a more aggressive role and integrated Cub Cadet into its other lines of power equipment.
