Cu Cadet 128 starting issues
Thank you Alvy, I just told it how it happened. I deal with electrical situations all the time at my job. But they are all electronic modules and such. Came on here for assistance and got basically called a liar. I put in a request to the moderator to be taken off here. Will find assistance else where if ever needed again.

1. You didnt know what you had. 2. You didnt know where power should be during cranking. 3. You can't test load with a test light. 4. All of the above tells me wiring is an issue for you. Im sorry if you think I was calling you a liar but from the above mentioned statements I doubt you were lying. I think you just didnt understand what was happening.

It's one thing to be great at what you do but it's another to be great at what you do and feel the need to shove it down everyone's throat that may be less experienced.

Not sure if this was pointed at me.. It seems you might have. I been a mechanic 30 plus years. This guy was claiming to be a mechanic for 40 plus years. I take a little offense to someone saying they have that much experience when they say they tested load with a test light but then also say electrical after being a tech for so long is no problem for them. Then in the next breath they say " I deal with electrical situations all the time at my job. But they are all electronic modules and such". Well, body control modules, trans modules, and all late model vehicle car modules are way way more technical than a cub VR.. I am sorry.. Just callin it like I see it. I like helping people. Im sure others here do also. After others here helped the guy, the least he could have done is said "thanks guys, you were right, I messed up the wiring because the new VR was a little different"

I think Roland should add a time out section and let those sent to it to paint the walls with their eye balls...

Personally I don’t like J and Coop on the same side.
They might turn on us. Best to keep them just against each other.

Cub Cadet is a premium line of outdoor power equipment, established in 1961 as part of International Harvester. During the 1960s, IH initiated an entirely new line of lawn and garden equipment aimed at the owners rural homes with large yards and private gardens. There were a wide variety of Cub Cadet branded and after-market attachments available; including mowers, blades, snow blowers, front loaders, plows, carts, etc. Cub Cadet advertising at that time harped on their thorough testing by "boys - acknowledged by many as the world's worst destructive force!". Cub Cadets became known for their dependability and rugged construction.
MTD Products, Inc. of Cleveland, Ohio purchased the Cub Cadet brand from International Harvester in 1981. Cub Cadet was held as a wholly owned subsidiary for many years following this acquisition, which allowed them to operate independently. Recently, MTD has taken a more aggressive role and integrated Cub Cadet into its other lines of power equipment.
