Using the added on NF hydraulic lift
You would still use the bottom of the "armstrong" lift ( it gets cut off at the bottom of the chrome tube ) so the same stop would work. I can pics in a week or so when I swap "ready" positions of my 125's ( snow thrower in front of mower ). It's kind of blocked on the lift side right now. |

Hope I'm not hijacking this thread but just a quick question.....
So supposing you already have an electric lift that is working just fine, would adding a spring assist do anything for the longevity of the e-lift? I ask because I have a 1200 with e-lift and I have a wide frame spring assist laying around, I never before gave any thought about putting it on the 1200. |

As much as I think a NF hydraulic unit would work on it, it’s leaning towards being more of a PITA than it’s worth, and I can either keep the Armstrong lift or try to get a good working Elift. Do you have any pictures of this setup? Thanks

Cub Cadet is a premium line of outdoor power equipment, established in 1961 as part of International Harvester. During the 1960s, IH initiated an entirely new line of lawn and garden equipment aimed at the owners rural homes with large yards and private gardens. There were a wide variety of Cub Cadet branded and after-market attachments available; including mowers, blades, snow blowers, front loaders, plows, carts, etc. Cub Cadet advertising at that time harped on their thorough testing by "boys - acknowledged by many as the world's worst destructive force!". Cub Cadets became known for their dependability and rugged construction.
MTD Products, Inc. of Cleveland, Ohio purchased the Cub Cadet brand from International Harvester in 1981. Cub Cadet was held as a wholly owned subsidiary for many years following this acquisition, which allowed them to operate independently. Recently, MTD has taken a more aggressive role and integrated Cub Cadet into its other lines of power equipment.
