Ok guys I will break the news. I got a new johnny bucket for my 2072 woods tractor but did not get the requisite pics. Oh I am not a politician either. Just thought I would build a little suspense. I did not check for Viagra though. You can bet I am off to check the boxes one more time. Once we get it going maybe EricR will video it working. The Johnny Bucket that is. LOL

Oops further delay. We finally got the 2072 rear back together and in the tractor but found another seal leaking. The shaft that goes through the hydro has a leaking seal and looks like it can only be replaced by removing the rear so we can get to it. Oh well waiting on another package of parts to stop the leaks before we can pull the beast into the sunshine and get some work done. Since I got the bucket I have found a bunch of uses around the house for it but all is on hold.

Actually the tranny was back in the tractor and the shaft that was leaking was the one that holds the drive linkage and extends all the way through the hydro from side to side. We tried but there was not enough room to work between the shaft and the frame. I got the part in the mail today and this evening we worked on it. We finally gave up and split the tractor once again to just get to that seal. The seal we took out was a standard metal faced one but the one that Cub Cadet sent was all rubber. Don't know if the one we took out was a correct one. We only got started putting the tractor back together and I hope to finish the job tomorrow. Maybe, just maybe then the Johnny bucket will get mounted. Pics will happen I promise.

Oh yea I have a whole bunch of possible uses for this one once we get the tranny from spilling its liquid gold on the garage floor. We had to remove the rear last evening for a 2 minute seal replace and then by 9:30 we were both bicycle (two tired) to get it all back together again so that is my aim for today. Oh well work before play has always been the saying. So true, so true.
