Once the magnet is broken you have 2 magnets as stated.
best to replace the broken magnet with a good used one, or you will reduce the charge output.
I'm thinking there are good magnets sitting around in junk KT17 flywheels in someone's pile of parts.

OK, I looked at that eBay Ad. Dimension wise, it is the same as mine. The seller states it has red markings, while mine have blue. Is that significant or maybe just a "vendors" markings ?? Doesn't each magnet have a N & S pole to it ??

Yes, perhaps they could be different mass/strength but what are the odds of that

I need some insight and clarification on these Flywheel Magnets. I re-watched the "Taryl" video again, focusing in on magnet polarity. He shows taking a magnet and going to the edge of each magnet to determine if the Flywheel Magnets attract or repel. I am NOT finding that to be true in my testing. As I mentioned earlier, I have one broken magnet out of the six. The five remaining magnets test this way. Taking a telescoping magnet, if you place that magnet in the middle of the arc, three attract, and two repel. If I go to either of the ends, they all attract.


So, I see on eBay, a person selling a Kohler Flywheel Magnet. He states, it is a "N Pole" Magnet. Is the N Pole magnet type, attract or repel ???
