What is the lift capacity of a Cat 0 on these super cubs? I've been toying with this idea some myself and haven't seen where anyone has said the lift capacity or the distance of travel of the lower arms. Any help would be appreciated.

Thanks,
Ross

I don't know the capacity of the 2284 but a cat 0 hitch was a factory option so I'm assuming its capable of handling cat 0 implements. I think MattG posted on another thread the weight limits on each type of lift. Ill measure the travel I have but I can say for sure if you order the multi configuration hitch travel will not be an issue. There are so many position holes its a little confusing at first. As soon as the weather breaks ill try out my plow and blade and post some pics.

Default Trying to get the lift set up correctly

I finally got a few minutes to play with the lift tonight. My big issue now is down pressure. I wanted to have some down force but the way it is now I have 0%. Can someone with a 3pt tell me if they have down pressure? I don't know if its the way I have it set up or if it is the way the float slot is cut into the lift doesn't allow for any down force. I emailed Aaron at Xtreme so maybe Ill be able to figure it out.

Well I talked with Aaron at Xtreme and he told me his kits were based on the OEM lifts and they had a long float slot. He was kind enough to give me several options to get the down force I want. Finally he sold me a prototype slot float block he is working on that will give me the option for float or downforce. CADplans if your lift arm is OEM would you post a picture of your rear slot on your lift. More kudos to Xtreme Aaron answered quickly gave me info and options and didnt try to sell me anything until I asked first.

"CADplans if your lift arm is OEM would you post a picture of your rear slot on your lift"

The only "float" in my lift is in the vertical connectors that connect to the lift arms.

I am referring to shiny area on the vertical connecting link.

Cub Cadet is a premium line of outdoor power equipment, established in 1961 as part of International Harvester. During the 1960s, IH initiated an entirely new line of lawn and garden equipment aimed at the owners rural homes with large yards and private gardens. There were a wide variety of Cub Cadet branded and after-market attachments available; including mowers, blades, snow blowers, front loaders, plows, carts, etc. Cub Cadet advertising at that time harped on their thorough testing by "boys - acknowledged by many as the world's worst destructive force!". Cub Cadets became known for their dependability and rugged construction.

MTD Products, Inc. of Cleveland, Ohio purchased the Cub Cadet brand from International Harvester in 1981. Cub Cadet was held as a wholly owned subsidiary for many years following this acquisition, which allowed them to operate independently. Recently, MTD has taken a more aggressive role and integrated Cub Cadet into its other lines of power equipment.
