Went to Lowes and Home despot and both were sold out of the little propane cylinders for camp stoves, sold out of generators and people were hauling bottled water out like crazy. I did not need any of those things but they did not have what I was looking for either and it was not flood related. Lots of leaf and twig debris on the highways. It is raining steady and windy but they say it ain't over yet.

My daughter lives on the fringe of Harrisburg, they lost power @ 4:00pm, the eye is expected to go over them about 7:00pm. She said she NEVER EVER saw such CRAZY rain flying every which way. They live in a newer townhouse sub., & gonna spend the night in the basement, They got 2 blow up pads (beds) & all 4 of them will be real cozy, & their dog also.
Nik, GOD BLESS EVERYONE IN THAT STORM

we've hit a foot of snow overnight. Sam the BX was doing duty at 5am this morning.... Gotta love the FEL, night at day difference between pushing with a blade and just scooping it and dumping it out of the way.
NOAA said we could get another foot today. Took my wife to work this morning and it's normally a 15 minute max trip to the hospital, this morning just over an hour. Thankful for good retired early bird neighbors who watch the sleeping boys!

Gary
So far just wind and a couple flurries for me. I find the blade to be faster. I built my plow from an old Meyers. I use the FEL to lift it and the bucket hydraulics to turn it. If you want more info on the build PM me with your e-mail address.

Cub Cadet is a premium line of outdoor power equipment, established in 1961 as part of International Harvester. During the 1960s, IH initiated an entirely new line of lawn and garden equipment aimed at the owners rural homes with large yards and private gardens. There were a wide variety of Cub Cadet branded and after-market attachments available; including mowers, blades, snow blowers, front loaders, plows, carts, etc. Cub Cadet advertising at that time harped on their thorough testing by "boys - acknowledged by many as the world's worst destructive force!". Cub Cadets became known for their dependability and rugged construction.
MTD Products, Inc. of Cleveland, Ohio purchased the Cub Cadet brand from International Harvester in 1981. Cub Cadet was held as a wholly owned subsidiary for many years following this acquisition, which allowed them to operate independently. Recently, MTD has taken a more aggressive role and integrated Cub Cadet into its other lines of power equipment.
