Looks good. I am also liking the exhaust. Have you had it running yet? I wander if the PTO will get to hot between the mufflers. Are you planning on running side covers?

thanks guys, I have had it running and it sounds really nice.i am planning on using the side covers. any advice on what to do about the heat shield?

The only thing I can think of would be a "U" shaped custom shield around the PTO. I’m not sure of the air flow though. Cubs n bxers had a similar setup on his 782 repower, he said the heat from the mufflers was too hot with side covers on. Hope it will work for you.

Maybe have the mufflers Jet Hot coated and then header wrap. Or find a muffler and heat shield from an 1864 or 2284 just to pick two Cubs that used that engine.
