Well either way you can't go wrong being they're all cubs. Good luck and keep us posted.

If my wife said "buy all of them" I'd be gone and back with them before the screen door shut.

Wifey saying go buy them all must be a trap of some kind. She probably wants a new fridge or something.

Ain't that the truth. (Honey do list)

If you're buying the ones in pieces, try to make sure everything is there. Of course, might be some bolts, etc. missing. Just make sure the major parts are there. Good luck and let us know how the deal goes.

I picked up the 122 and 127 basket cases today. Both machines had been soda blasted, and from what I can tell, 99% of the parts are there. Going to start rebuilding the 122 this weekend.

Thanks to all for your valued input.

Cub Cadet is a premium line of outdoor power equipment, established in 1961 as part of International Harvester. During the 1960s, IH initiated an entirely new line of lawn and garden equipment aimed at the owners rural homes with large yards and private gardens. There were a wide variety of Cub Cadet branded and after-market attachments available; including mowers, blades, snow blowers, front loaders, plows, carts, etc. Cub Cadet advertising at that time harped on their thorough testing by "boys - acknowledged by many as the world's worst destructive force!". Cub Cadets became known for their dependability and rugged construction.

MTD Products, Inc. of Cleveland, Ohio purchased the Cub Cadet brand from International Harvester in 1981. Cub Cadet was held as a wholly owned subsidiary for many years following this acquisition, which allowed them to operate independently. Recently, MTD has taken a more aggressive role and integrated Cub Cadet into its other lines of power equipment.
