From what I understand it has to do with the serial number tag and the size of the decals.
Nick will be here and explain better.

I have one just like kostendorf's same decal no tag . Would these carts have came with a hitch pin ? And what years was the #2 cart in production ?

Wouldn't think so, but possible I guess. What difference would it make if there was a pin with them or not?
As for the years built, you'll have to wait for the cart guru Nick, he would know.

i believe the carts were built from 1967 or early 1970s, all the way into the 80s

I tried to leave it the way it was, but I just couldn't look at all that rust. So I sanded every part and got everything primed. I'm painting tomorrow. I saved the decal on the tailgate but the one on the front was to far gone. I'm looking for a new decal for the front.
