Well moving on, didn't intend to make a entire post about fans lol take it or leave it I'm happy with it. I finally received the shaft for the #2 cart, I kinda like the Ag wheels on it. Now I need to blast her and paint. Hope to get to it next week.
Few pix of it .

Not to ...... but do you have one of these in the engine? (mouse nest) That will make it run hot. Your 782 looks good by the way.

No not a speck of oil or dust on her, when I got it I went through and cleaned out every nook and cranny.

I know better than to start more than one project at a time, but it's getting cold here and I decided to start on my blade. I'm going sandblast it and give it a new coat of paint. Got it tore down this afternoon. Not in real bad condition considering it's been outside for 3 years.

Actually it looks quite good. The one I just picked up will push snow in its rusty state this year before I get to restore it during better weather!

Finished blasting the blade and all it's parts, good coat of primer. Now I just need to break out the old paint gun and get her a thick coat. I'm happy with the way it's coming along, can't wait to get it finished then I can blast the cart and get started on it.

That blade looks very well done, as well as the 782. I need to get to my 782 as well, but too many irons in the fire! Looks like you are making preparations for a lot of fun this winter. Thanks for sharing your pics and keep up the great work!

Cub Cadet is a premium line of outdoor power equipment, established in 1961 as part of International Harvester. During the 1960s, IH initiated an entirely new line of lawn and garden equipment aimed at the owners rural homes with large yards and private gardens. There were a wide variety of Cub Cadet branded and after-market attachments available; including mowers, blades, snow blowers, front loaders, plows, carts, etc. Cub Cadet advertising at that time harped on their thorough testing by "boys - acknowledged by many as the world's worst destructive force!". Cub Cadets became known for their dependability and rugged construction.

MTD Products, Inc. of Cleveland, Ohio purchased the Cub Cadet brand from International Harvester in 1981. Cub Cadet was held as a wholly owned subsidiary for many years following this acquisition, which allowed them to operate independently. Recently, MTD has taken a more aggressive role and integrated Cub Cadet into its other lines of power equipment.
