Yes, my dad had a friend do a favor who is a tractor dealer and he has a winter house about 2 hours from me. I think I win the award for furthest distance to get a cub although I didn't do the driving.

So it's been a couple of years since I've had this. Got a bunch of missing oarts from members like Lew and Ironman. It's been at my neighbors for over a year as he blew up his crapsman. Well this weekend while he was mowing sparks started flying out if the side behind the engine. Turns out the blower housing screen broke off and was getting ground up. Well next thing You know, engines out and apart and I'm buying parts from Don and ebay and then saying, well, probably needs the clutch redone, probably needs the fenders off for a good cleaning, creeper, yatta yatta. Looks like this is my next refurb. Needs a lot, frame was cut in the back, two plates were welded on the steer axle channel with the giant bolt through it. Lots of cutting and welding on this one. Will try to take more pictures but I never do for some reason.

Cub Cadet is a premium line of outdoor power equipment, established in 1961 as part of International Harvester. During the 1960s, IH initiated an entirely new line of lawn and garden equipment aimed at the owners rural homes with large yards and private gardens. There were a wide variety of Cub Cadet branded and after-market attachments available; including mowers, blades, snow blowers, front loaders, plows, carts, etc. Cub Cadet advertising at that time harped on their thorough testing by "boys - acknowledged by many as the world's worst destructive force!". Cub Cadets became known for their dependability and rugged construction.

MTD Products, Inc. of Cleveland, Ohio purchased the Cub Cadet brand from International Harvester in 1981. Cub Cadet was held as a wholly owned subsidiary for many years following this acquisition, which allowed them to operate independently. Recently, MTD has taken a more aggressive role and integrated Cub Cadet into its other lines of power equipment.
