As for the cab, since it's for a quietline, I'll take it off your hands, Johnathon, ya know, to save you the fabrication trouble
I noticed that also...lol.

Might be hidden behind a clod of dirt?

Cab looks nice on your 1811 Doug. It will really be appreciated this winter! Let us know how you resolved your windshield and front panels situation.

Very nice Jonathan! They never really caught on down here in Georgia but it would be nice to use in the summer with an A/C unit mounted on the roof.

Oak, I looked into A.C. units. I'm in the "dealer network" for an aftermarket A.C. company. I can get a new roof mount A.C. unit for $925. Only problem is.... it takes 33 amps to run. You'd have to add an alternator. But, I really don't think that is a big deal. I may even add one to this 1811 because I think I'm going to put an electric heater in it. Plan to add a pulley between the motor and driveshaft coupler (just like on the "K" series for the add on hydraulic pump for the NF's) and put a 60 amp single wire self exciting alternator on. Overall cost for AC I think would be justified if you use the tractor a lot in the summer. Beats the heck out of $35K for a small cab tractor!!!

AC on a Cub? This is my answer to cooling off when I get hot mowing in the summer. Just had to bust.

Personally..... I like that idea better!

Financially, the A.C. is cheaper

Although I would love to add AC just to say I did, I'm not spending $1000 on an A.C. kit for that tractor...... unless I find a way to use it more....

This is all the pool I'll be affording..... LOL

Cub Cadet is a premium line of outdoor power equipment, established in 1961 as part of International Harvester. During the 1960s, IH initiated an entirely new line of lawn and garden equipment aimed at the owners rural homes with large yards and private gardens. There were a wide variety of Cub Cadet branded and after-market attachments available; including mowers, blades, snow blowers, front loaders, plows, carts, etc. Cub Cadet advertising at that time harped on their thorough testing by "boys - acknowledged by many as the world's worst destructive force!". Cub Cadets became known for their dependability and rugged construction.

MTD Products, Inc. of Cleveland, Ohio purchased the Cub Cadet brand from International Harvester in 1981. Cub Cadet was held as a wholly owned subsidiary for many years following this acquisition, which allowed them to operate independently. Recently, MTD has taken a more aggressive role and integrated Cub Cadet into its other lines of power equipment.
