they're both in pretty rough shape at the moment.
I pulled the 122 into the garage this past weekend and tried to get her fired up. PTO is done. It won't disengage, and because the tiller is still on it, it's that much more of a fight getting it to start. I have a new set of points, condenser, plug and wire on the way to the house now. I'm getting spark, but it's weak at best. The good news is that although it's being a little ornery, I think it'll start without too much trouble. The 122 is pretty riddled with rust, but I've got a much cleaner set of fenders, seat bracket, rear brace, etc that I'll swap onto it once it warms up a bit. The 123 is a bit of a mess. The motor was replaced with a 10, and at some point whoever replaced it obviously needed a new starter and only found/had one that spun the wrong direction, so he fab'd up a bracket and mounted the starter to the nose. In the process of removing the old engine, he trashed the frame by bending it out easily 1-1.5" around the engine. That's the bad news. Good news is that I'm primarily a "100 guy" so the engine will find it's way into a 100 soon enough. The Haban will also go on a 100 or one of my loaded 122's at some point this spring. I'm on the fence on what to do with the 123 at that point. I may bite the bullet and call it a donor, or I may stick to my guns of not wanting to part machines out, and fix it up with a proper 301, straighten (or swap) the frame rails, and slap a deck on it and call it a mower. ...but again, I'm on the fence with it.

They look good to me. Currently drooling over the seat in the 122. I will get over it.............maybe. Anyway nice going and good luck with them!
PS what's up with the s/g mounting on the 123?
