How did stuff go? Any idea what the chipper/shreader brought? I would have liked to go but had just too many things that needed to get done, plus the 2 1/2 hour one way road trip.
Thanks David |

Had a great time at the auction. Got to meet Mike and Mike and Jim W. Jim only lives 30 miles from me, i knew he was down there from postings but had never met him. I always wondered where we'd meet, didn't think it would be 100 miles to the north. Should have had a trailer, all running cubs went for better than CL prices. I would have liked a nice 128 that went for 400$ and a 680 that wouldn't start but was supposed to run for 300$. Waiting to see Mike's next load of old iron! What happened with all those hoods? Mike

There was 1 cart there too Cartman and it was a #2. Looked like it had a patched floor in it and it was sorta rough. Not sure what it sold for.

Hey Mike, How did all those hoods end up selling? Did they bid one for choice, take how many? Did someone take all? Mike

I'm not sure. When they were selling all the stuff behind the garage I was out back looking at the tractors. |

Cub Cadet is a premium line of outdoor power equipment, established in 1961 as part of International Harvester. During the 1960s, IH initiated an entirely new line of lawn and garden equipment aimed at the owners rural homes with large yards and private gardens. There were a wide variety of Cub Cadet branded and after-market attachments available; including mowers, blades, snow blowers, front loaders, plows, carts, etc. Cub Cadet advertising at that time harped on their thorough testing by "boys - acknowledged by many as the world's worst destructive force!". Cub Cadets became known for their dependability and rugged construction.
MTD Products, Inc. of Cleveland, Ohio purchased the Cub Cadet brand from International Harvester in 1981. Cub Cadet was held as a wholly owned subsidiary for many years following this acquisition, which allowed them to operate independently. Recently, MTD has taken a more aggressive role and integrated Cub Cadet into its other lines of power equipment.
