A boss of mine is originally from the Lancaster area, and he told me about a place called Shady Maple Smorgasbord. Looked it up and it sounds like a good place to try. You guys are killin my wife with all the ice cream and chocolate suggestions, I may not get her to leave!

I'v eaten at Shady Maple and will tell you if you leave that place hungry it's your own fault, lol.

This is a very true statement.

Also while in the area make sure you try funny cake, it's a cake in a pie shell with chocolate goo layer between. It's shoo fly pie's lesser know cousin, everyone gets all worked up over shoo fly pie, sfp is good, but funny cake is where it's at.

LoL no, it would be dangerous if it was. My wife and I love ice cream, we always look for fresh in-store/local made ice cream when we travel.
