1711 problems

Hello, new member here and first order i would like to thank yall for having me. Me and my 1711 need help! She goes through oil quick. Smokes pretty decent. Hard to start. Under the motor is wet with oil but no drips to the ground. Did a compression test but it was cold got 50 on one side 55 on the other. Tried to get it to start to warm it up and do the compression test right with it warm and smoke rolled from under the seat. Now I get a click every now and then when I turn the key and sometimes nothing at all. Eletrical is not my strong point. Picked her up for 500 bucks and got 2 years use out of her. 1250 hours on the clock. Really don't want to dump a ton of money in her. Just looking for some insight, I want to save her if I can on a budget, she's in nice shape other wise.

Cub Cadet is a premium line of outdoor power equipment, established in 1961 as part of International Harvester. Recently, MTD has taken a more aggressive role and integrated Cub Cadet into its other lines of power equipment.
