I'd hate me to, to be honest I'm really surprised it worked out this way, I've been keeping an eye out for a few years for one and I manage to find two on the same day. The only way this could be better is if there consecutive serial numbers.

Wouldn't that be something!!
I've got a friend with two Farmall tractors with consecutive serial numbers. It was just luck, fate, or whatever. Bought them at different times at different areas geographically. He bought them to flip, but kept them when he found out they were consecutive serial numbers. He said, "What are the odds of that happening?" No sh!te! |

Haha,
Funny you should mention that my brother and I had two quiet lines one serial number apart. I believe I put this on the forum at the time. his 1000 was like 1001 and my 1650 was 1003. The only way we found it was the simple numbers that he recalled his being low and we looked into it. Mike

Well, I'm happy for you Tim!
Let's see... you still have a IH push mower right? Now two walk behind blowers... Looks like you still need a tiller to complete the walk behind machines.

I have no desire to have a walk behind tiller, there more work than I'm into.

Cub Cadet is a premium line of outdoor power equipment, established in 1961 as part of International Harvester. During the 1960s, IH initiated an entirely new line of lawn and garden equipment aimed at the owners rural homes with large yards and private gardens. There were a wide variety of Cub Cadet branded and after-market attachments available; including mowers, blades, snow blowers, front loaders, plows, carts, etc. Cub Cadet advertising at that time harped on their thorough testing by "boys - acknowledged by many as the world's worst destructive force!". Cub Cadets became known for their dependability and rugged construction.
MTD Products, Inc. of Cleveland, Ohio purchased the Cub Cadet brand from International Harvester in 1981. Cub Cadet was held as a wholly owned subsidiary for many years following this acquisition, which allowed them to operate independently. Recently, MTD has taken a more aggressive role and integrated Cub Cadet into its other lines of power equipment.
