Thanks very much for the birthday wishes everyone.
It was a "interesting" day of sorts. Started out going into Green Bay for a doctors appointment. Of all things on a birthday, hey? All checked out good, so should make it to the next birthday. "SHOULD"
Then on the ride home, my phone rings, it's my oldest, and closest friend, and he tells me his (our) brother died Tuesday night. Well that sucked.
Got into town and went to my dealer (Cub dealer) and picked up my parts for the 782 and 100.
Got home, and the wife had to turn around and head back to Green Bay to work for 1 till 9. So I took out a fresh package of venison back straps from a deer we butchered yesterday, and had that on the grill with fried onions, texas toast. Was a tad cold out there grilling supper at 19*
Topped that off with two pickled eggs and a bottle of soda. Living large right there... A good birthday meal it was.
Thanks again everyone, means a lot.

Cub Cadet is a premium line of outdoor power equipment, established in 1961 as part of International Harvester. During the 1960s, IH initiated an entirely new line of lawn and garden equipment aimed at the owners rural homes with large yards and private gardens. There were a wide variety of Cub Cadet branded and after-market attachments available; including mowers, blades, snow blowers, front loaders, plows, carts, etc. Cub Cadet advertising at that time harped on their thorough testing by "boys - acknowledged by many as the world's worst destructive force!". Cub Cadets became known for their dependability and rugged construction.

MTD Products, Inc. of Cleveland, Ohio purchased the Cub Cadet brand from International Harvester in 1981. Cub Cadet was held as a wholly owned subsidiary for many years following this acquisition, which allowed them to operate independently. Recently, MTD has taken a more aggressive role and integrated Cub Cadet into its other lines of power equipment.
