Default Whats a 149 worth in decent shape
So I've been looking at expanding my cub collection and came across a 149. It's in ok condition, no major rust, dents. Does have a broken tail light. It does not start, makes a loud clicking noise when turning key. Has hydro lift. Guy wants $500 obo. This is in northern Illinois. Is that a price you guys would pay? If not, whats a fair price?

Thanks guys, I was thinking around that price range. I talked with the guy and he said $400 is as lows as he'll go for it not running since it's "vintage steel" and heavy. By the way he told me he got it for free while driving around for scrap metal from some older couple. I offered $250 he said it wasn't even worth it to pickup for that amount lol.

Guess he'll sit on it then.... I hate scrappers. Won't pay chit for what you have, want premium price when they have it. BTDT.

Remind him that scrap price is waaaaay down too. Sounds like $150 tops to me.

Like J said, he will never sell that for 400,without a running engine.
Wait a couple of weeks and offer that 250 again.
