Sorry to hear about your bad back. My wife has been in severe pain for past 6 months with her back and legs. Pain meds. not helping. You have great looking tractors and I am sure you have put a lot of labor and love into them. Wishing the very best for you. Have as great a day as possible.

Walmart and some of the other stores carry an electronic device that adheres to your back and has a small battery that sends pulses down your spine. Trust me, I had Sciatic Nerve pain and this less than $40 dollar device really helped. I think Icy Hot makes it.

A friend of mine had one implanted in her back a couple of years ago,
it reduced her sciatic pain from a 9 to near zero.
Medicare paid the bills thank goodness

I haven't been able to walk for the past month without help from a cane or walker, Going to have the shots in the back this Tuesday, I sure hope they help. Never had pain like this.
Heck!! I got a CC100 in pieces waiting for some TLC and wanting to come back to life.

Sorry Charles you can't do the things you use to do, But we all get old, But we go on and make the best of what we have, at least I try to do that.

Before you sell them tractors, get some good Dr's to evaluate your back.
It's amazing what they can do today, I've had friends walk normally who were told there was no hope a few years back.

Thanks George, I'm pretty sure I have a good doctor now, at least he seems concerned, and wants to help me. Just gonna take it a step at a time, and see what happens.

Larry - you are right to seek out a good doctor. If you can't get relief, see another physician. I've had the nerve block shots in my lower back and they do help a lot. I still have an occasional bad day especially when it's cold and damp out, which in upstate NY is about 9 months of the year! I hope you feel better soon.

I continue to appreciate all the positive comments. My issue is not with my back. Jay even if I do sell I hope to stay on the forum. The problem I am facing is I don't think I can get what these tractors are worth. They may be too nice for the average cub fan. I am having a hard time determining a price. I do not want to come of as bragging but many in this thread have noted how nice these tractors are and to me that is the highest form of compliment. This being said by guys that know what they are talking about means a lot to me.

Cub Cadet is a premium line of outdoor power equipment, established in 1961 as part of International Harvester. During the 1960s, IH initiated an entirely new line of lawn and garden equipment aimed at the owners rural homes with large yards and private gardens. There were a wide variety of Cub Cadet branded and after-market attachments available; including mowers, blades, snow blowers, front loaders, plows, carts, etc. Cub Cadet advertising at that time harped on their thorough testing by "boys - acknowledged by many as the world's worst destructive force!". Cub Cadets became known for their dependability and rugged construction.

MTD Products, Inc. of Cleveland, Ohio purchased the Cub Cadet brand from International Harvester in 1981. Cub Cadet was held as a wholly owned subsidiary for many years following this acquisition, which allowed them to operate independently. Recently, MTD has taken a more aggressive role and integrated Cub Cadet into its other lines of power equipment.
