Oh, I can read for comprehension just fine pal, BTW, I never said hacksaw. I understand your capabilities far better than you think. No one here insulted you. Now you are trying to insult the 2 people that are trying to help you. You seriously called a cub cadet dealer to ask how to take a radiator cap off. Yes, your the kind of guy i would tell to cut it because you obviously do not possess the brain power to figure this out on your own. I have been a mechanic and shop owner for over 30 years and owned my heavy equipment refurbishment facility for the last 25. I can get my radiator caps off without going onto a forum or calling a dealer. It is you that came asking for this kind of help. Hey. make sure the engine is cold when ya finally get that cap off! good luck

Cub Cadet is a premium line of outdoor power equipment, established in 1961 as part of International Harvester. During the 1960s, IH initiated an entirely new line of lawn and garden equipment aimed at the owners rural homes with large yards and private gardens. There were a wide variety of Cub Cadet branded and after-market attachments available; including mowers, blades, snow blowers, front loaders, plows, carts, etc. Cub Cadet advertising at that time harped on their thorough testing by "boys - acknowledged by many as the world's worst destructive force!". Cub Cadets became known for their dependability and rugged construction.

MTD Products, Inc. of Cleveland, Ohio purchased the Cub Cadet brand from International Harvester in 1981. Cub Cadet was held as a wholly owned subsidiary for many years following this acquisition, which allowed them to operate independently. Recently, MTD has taken a more aggressive role and integrated Cub Cadet into its other lines of power equipment.
