Good deal on that one. Will be waiting to see if it's a tack driver. I have 3 Marlins, old single shot, semi auto and 22 mag.

The Marlin 39A is the finest .22 rifle ever. The most accurate in my arsenal. I use iron sights.

H&R slug gun shooters?
I deer hunt in Illinois using the H&R single shot rifled slugged gun. It likes The Lightfield slugs and they've gone away. So does anyone use something else?

Range Day
Just discovered this thread again. Here's a "shot" from a couple yrs ago shooting my 300 BO subsonics with a NFA short barreled rifle and suppressor. Super quiet centerfire fun.

For CC I have two options, a Bersa Thunder 380 and a Ruger LCP 380. I modified the Ruger to improve the grip a bit by adding a Hoque Handall grip and a Garrison grip extension. I much prefer the Bersa but there are times when the clothing worn dictates the need for something smaller.

How do you like the trigger? I should have mentioned the LCP is a version 2 (Not LCP II) with the changed sights and trigger.

Just fine. It's not my CZ but I can put all the holes together at whatever I'm shooting at.

Got myself a little extra Christmas present. Cabelas was having a sale on the Heritage Rough Rider 22 cal SA so I went out to take a look. I've been missing my Ruger Single Six for 40 years so I figured what the heck. Well the set with the extra Magnum cylinder was already sold out. They said they got 108 in and they were gone the morning of the first day. While waiting for the guy to bring up the single cylinder set I took a look in the used case and there sat one, and it was minty. Long story short, I opted for the used one. Came in the original box with all the paperwork including the original test fired cartridge case and a factory coupon for the Magnum cylinder. The serial number dates it to 2014. I prefer the finish on the older ones. Paid $99. I already changed out the grips for checkered Rosewood grips. The Cocobolo grips were too smooth.

Cub Cadet is a premium line of outdoor power equipment, established in 1961 as part of International Harvester. During the 1960s, IH initiated an entirely new line of lawn and garden equipment aimed at the owners rural homes with large yards and private gardens. There were a wide variety of Cub Cadet branded and after-market attachments available; including mowers, blades, snow blowers, front loaders, plows, carts, etc. Cub Cadet advertising at that time harped on their thorough testing by "boys - acknowledged by many as the world's worst destructive force!". Cub Cadets became known for their dependability and rugged construction.
MTD Products, Inc. of Cleveland, Ohio purchased the Cub Cadet brand from International Harvester in 1981. Cub Cadet was held as a wholly owned subsidiary for many years following this acquisition, which allowed them to operate independently. Recently, MTD has taken a more aggressive role and integrated Cub Cadet into its other lines of power equipment.
