Thanks guys. Cubs are a fun hobby. My buddy drove my 127 today, first time I ever saw it driving ha ha. He is a new member here, and is the person I bought my 73 from.

I mowed grass this evening, after a long day rebuilding my haban. Here goes my story. Please don't criticise me, I know its dangerous, but not much worse than just riding along. I went out to mow, and my little girl followed me running. figured, hey, I take her for a ride and she will be cool and go in and play. Nope. she freaked when I decided the ride was over. OK. Another ride, but this time I ran the deck, same time. She settled in on my lap, holding on gently and solid. I figured that when she started squirming Id stop and make her go inside, but for 1 hour solid she sat on my lap holding on, happy as could be. I stopped for gas, drinks for both of us, then back out to mow, and more of the same. She ducked down under tree limbs and squealed with delight! For over 2 hours we had a connection concealed by the sound of a kohler and mower deck singing underneath. I did long passes, to keep from stopping, or backing up, to make it longer, and to make it safer for us. It was magical to me.

Great looking tractors everyone.

I got the 1450 out, finished plowing the garden, and started disking it with the tandem Brinly disk.

Cub Cadet is a premium line of outdoor power equipment, established in 1961 as part of International Harvester. During the 1960s, IH initiated an entirely new line of lawn and garden equipment aimed at the owners rural homes with large yards and private gardens. There were a wide variety of Cub Cadet branded and after-market attachments available; including mowers, blades, snow blowers, front loaders, plows, carts, etc. Cub Cadet advertising at that time harped on their thorough testing by "boys - acknowledged by many as the world's worst destructive force!". Cub Cadets became known for their dependability and rugged construction.

MTD Products, Inc. of Cleveland, Ohio purchased the Cub Cadet brand from International Harvester in 1981. Cub Cadet was held as a wholly owned subsidiary for many years following this acquisition, which allowed them to operate independently. Recently, MTD has taken a more aggressive role and integrated Cub Cadet into its other lines of power equipment.
