today i took the 38 inch deck off the 86 and put a 44A on it to see what it would be like. man am i impressed. the little 8 horse handles the 44 inch deck with no problem and it cuts very nice and level. i use 2000 series cubs for mowing usually and save the old ones for "true work"
 but i suited the 86 up for a back up mower. i might have to rethink what i mow with now after how sweet this thing mows

Plowed up a unlevel spot and disced it up.
