OOOOOO.... a sickle bar mower! that what i could really use around here! ill have to find one of them too! and yes ive had the yellow fever since i was about 6! my neighbor has way more cubs then i, his dad worked for a dealer, so he has all the manuals NOS parts and just a bunch of cool original working tractors, so i grew up watching him use his 100 to mow with and i can still remember the distinctive sound of that machine... had a weird seat on it to, that tractor hasnt left the shed in years! says he likes to switch em out every 10 years lol his son bought him a deere and hes been using that now a lot

I have seen your tractor/blade set up pictures before. I have a 109 with similar set up for snow. Question---what do use for a switch, and, have you had any issues with generator due to draw of winch?? Perhaps, a PM or e-mail would be best so as not to spam. I'm very interested in your set up. Thanks.

Here's pic of my new to me 582. I picked this up a few weeks ago. I've already got one 582 so I'm looking to trade this one for a 482, 582 special, or a 1282. I posted a new album for it in my profile.

Cub Cadet is a premium line of outdoor power equipment, established in 1961 as part of International Harvester. During the 1960s, IH initiated an entirely new line of lawn and garden equipment aimed at the owners rural homes with large yards and private gardens. There were a wide variety of Cub Cadet branded and after-market attachments available; including mowers, blades, snow blowers, front loaders, plows, carts, etc. Cub Cadet advertising at that time harped on their thorough testing by "boys - acknowledged by many as the world's worst destructive force!". Cub Cadets became known for their dependability and rugged construction.
MTD Products, Inc. of Cleveland, Ohio purchased the Cub Cadet brand from International Harvester in 1981. Cub Cadet was held as a wholly owned subsidiary for many years following this acquisition, which allowed them to operate independently. Recently, MTD has taken a more aggressive role and integrated Cub Cadet into its other lines of power equipment.
