Here is part of my fleet. pictured are all of my running operating Cubs. 4-1650s 2 with no deck, one with deck and one with 2 stage snow blower, 1000 with K341 transplant. 782D basically stock had no grill or front lights when I bought it so I added some lights. Have since located original grill and lights but have not put them on yet. Also installed taller exhaust to keep fumes out of my face when using it to mow. One is a 100-128 narrow frame rear, wide frame front hybrid used at one time for pulling. Also have 102 and 124 both with PTO rear end but have no pics of them.

Decided to work on my O today.(in below freezing temperatures..) I'm going to make it nice sometime. It's not much. but I enjoy it. When I first got it I worked the steering column too much and the bolt snapped and the whole assembly kicked the bucket.
But it's all good now. The engine knocks a bit. So I'm going to adjust the points and see what that will do. I've had it happen on other engines before. Adjust the points and it runs like a dream. I hope that's what fixes it... |

Well the steel pan seat that was on my blade tractor gets mighty cold when pushing snow so I thought it was time to do something about it. Go an old IH seat on a farm sale for $5 and figured it was worth putting on. Think I'll get new cushions for it sometime but as for now its a great improvement.
Also got some picture cleaning up from the blizzard this week to share with you guys. |

Cub Cadet is a premium line of outdoor power equipment, established in 1961 as part of International Harvester. During the 1960s, IH initiated an entirely new line of lawn and garden equipment aimed at the owners rural homes with large yards and private gardens. There were a wide variety of Cub Cadet branded and after-market attachments available; including mowers, blades, snow blowers, front loaders, plows, carts, etc. Cub Cadet advertising at that time harped on their thorough testing by "boys - acknowledged by many as the world's worst destructive force!". Cub Cadets became known for their dependability and rugged construction.
MTD Products, Inc. of Cleveland, Ohio purchased the Cub Cadet brand from International Harvester in 1981. Cub Cadet was held as a wholly owned subsidiary for many years following this acquisition, which allowed them to operate independently. Recently, MTD has taken a more aggressive role and integrated Cub Cadet into its other lines of power equipment.
