That's an extra pto switch I used for the rear back up light. I like the the lock out it has! Got every gasket and lip seal for the transmission. Still need the expansion cap gasket though. The rear end is making a weird noise, going to look into it so I might as well be prepared for anything I need to replace! As far as I'm concerned, the International Harvester Company SHOULD have left a hole for a switch anyway.

Very nice model 73, Wham!! Looks like a keeper to me
That model 100 is impressive Cubfan79dad!! Please update us with those awesome options when you get the time!! On another note, last Tuesday, boy was it rough coming home from work. The inclement weather was producing lake effect snow like you would not believe. The Blazer made it home in 4wd, at a 10 to 15 mph crawl! It was snowing that bad! So with that, I fired up the model 72 with custom IH 56" snow blade and started pushing the snow out of the drive. I'd guess we received around 6-8" of the white crap! Today, I fired up the 72 again, for nothing more than to be impressed on how quick and easy this K241 kicks off! Here is a picture to keep'em rolling!

Cub Cadet is a premium line of outdoor power equipment, established in 1961 as part of International Harvester. During the 1960s, IH initiated an entirely new line of lawn and garden equipment aimed at the owners rural homes with large yards and private gardens. There were a wide variety of Cub Cadet branded and after-market attachments available; including mowers, blades, snow blowers, front loaders, plows, carts, etc. Cub Cadet advertising at that time harped on their thorough testing by "boys - acknowledged by many as the world's worst destructive force!". Cub Cadets became known for their dependability and rugged construction.
MTD Products, Inc. of Cleveland, Ohio purchased the Cub Cadet brand from International Harvester in 1981. Cub Cadet was held as a wholly owned subsidiary for many years following this acquisition, which allowed them to operate independently. Recently, MTD has taken a more aggressive role and integrated Cub Cadet into its other lines of power equipment.
