Thanks guys. As I said it is really handy. The wife and I use it all of the time to move and lift things. It is really a back saver for us.

Just how handy is a Loader Cub?
I needed to load a transmission rear end assy from a F-20 Farmall on a trailer. Went to the barn to get out the Farmall M with a loader. Flat tire so that was out. I then decided to see if the loader cub could pick it up. No problem. The loader cub is probably the handiest cub I have. It gets used almost daily by the wife or I for chores around the house and shop.

Nice job. Currently I am in the process of copying you as your conversion is serving as a perfect “how to” guide. I will end up
painting mine red. It s an 1882. Will finish in IH Red/white/black. Thanks again for the info and inspiration. I’ll post a new thread as I make progress this weekend. |

Really like the light bar idea, for head light.

This is by far the best looking Cyclops Cub I've ever seen. Very cool project and end result.

Cub Cadet is a premium line of outdoor power equipment, established in 1961 as part of International Harvester. During the 1960s, IH initiated an entirely new line of lawn and garden equipment aimed at the owners rural homes with large yards and private gardens. There were a wide variety of Cub Cadet branded and after-market attachments available; including mowers, blades, snow blowers, front loaders, plows, carts, etc. Cub Cadet advertising at that time harped on their thorough testing by "boys - acknowledged by many as the world's worst destructive force!". Cub Cadets became known for their dependability and rugged construction.
MTD Products, Inc. of Cleveland, Ohio purchased the Cub Cadet brand from International Harvester in 1981. Cub Cadet was held as a wholly owned subsidiary for many years following this acquisition, which allowed them to operate independently. Recently, MTD has taken a more aggressive role and integrated Cub Cadet into its other lines of power equipment.
