In order to play with my new mower when its done, my 782 needed rear hydraulic ports. I am just splitting off the spool valve with 4 tees and running it out the back with the oem hoses they used for front ports. think the hoses came off a 1811. the couplers are used off a 300 series john deere. I was able to do the whole retrofit without drilling any holes in the machine whatsoever which was nice.

will post more pics when im done with the plumbing.

the hoses were dangerously close to rubbing on the hydro linkage so i bolted in a metal strip to hold them tight to the frame. there was a wiring clamp in this location i just removed it and then bolted the strip in place. holds the wiring and hoses nice and secure.

Actually i have a two spool valve. I know this looks crazy let me explain. The main spool is used to lift and lower the deck. The one out the rear that is tee'd in will simultaneously lift and lower the pull behind deck and the main mower deck.

The second spool can either be used in front to angle my blade, or out the rear to swing the hitch on the pull behind or run other attachments i haven't built yet.

Since i will never be using the blade and a rear attachment i figured splitting both spools will work for what i need. Hope you all can follow my logic.

Anyway, got the plumbing done now to reassemble the tractor and get on to building the hitch on the pull behind.

That makes sense! I didn't realize you had a dual spool.... Got it now!

Cub Cadet is a premium line of outdoor power equipment, established in 1961 as part of International Harvester. During the 1960s, IH initiated an entirely new line of lawn and garden equipment aimed at the owners rural homes with large yards and private gardens. There were a wide variety of Cub Cadet branded and after-market attachments available; including mowers, blades, snow blowers, front loaders, plows, carts, etc. Cub Cadet advertising at that time harped on their thorough testing by "boys - acknowledged by many as the world's worst destructive force!". Cub Cadets became known for their dependability and rugged construction.

MTD Products, Inc. of Cleveland, Ohio purchased the Cub Cadet brand from International Harvester in 1981. Cub Cadet was held as a wholly owned subsidiary for many years following this acquisition, which allowed them to operate independently. Recently, MTD has taken a more aggressive role and integrated Cub Cadet into its other lines of power equipment.
