Hey guys, I didn't get much work on the roller except that I washed it out, We were doing other gardening stuffs, and didn't get time to start that...

Maybe this weekend though.

But I did get some pics.

Don't you just love finding exscuses to use the cub.

My whole life it's been a chore starting her, and Now I think I started it 7 times this weekend. I loved it..

Thanks
Cody

pretty creative but what happens when Fred and Barney need to go to their Water Buffalo meeting?

Those rollers look great guys. So how much weight would an average sized (10 - 12 HP) Cub Cadet pull, anyone know? Anyone ever try to pull something like a small car with one?

The gentleman with the "ground pounder" beat me to it. We had a bunch of land roller sections(5 or 6) that you would put a shaft through all of them and rolled the field. They are @28" dia. and @34" long. About 15 years ago we built a farm shop. I set 2 of those rollers on end with a pipe down the middle. We filled both of them with left over concrete from the shop floor. I made a hitch that would work for the single or reconfigure for the double. One is so heavy I can not move it by hand even on cement. I pull it with my 782 with Titan Tru-Powers on front and back. It does a great job of rolling lawn, fresh gravel, loose dirt. I have not been stuck yet but when the lawn moves sideways as the front tires drive on top has me wondering how foolish can I be but you keep going until you can't.

Cub Cadet is a premium line of outdoor power equipment, established in 1961 as part of International Harvester. During the 1960s, IH initiated an entirely new line of lawn and garden equipment aimed at the owners rural homes with large yards and private gardens. There were a wide variety of Cub Cadet branded and after-market attachments available; including mowers, blades, snow blowers, front loaders, plows, carts, etc. Cub Cadet advertising at that time harped on their thorough testing by "boys - acknowledged by many as the world's worst destructive force!". Cub Cadets became known for their dependability and rugged construction.

MTD Products, Inc. of Cleveland, Ohio purchased the Cub Cadet brand from International Harvester in 1981. Cub Cadet was held as a wholly owned subsidiary for many years following this acquisition, which allowed them to operate independently. Recently, MTD has taken a more aggressive role and integrated Cub Cadet into its other lines of power equipment.
