jcsmith,,, Thank you for the compliments. Jesse Reed IS an EXCELLENT welder/fabricator. He is a retired ironworker. I am really glad he is my friend!

garnold,,,The fenders are from a Bolens 800 (don't shoot me!) I like a round fender look ,plus The 27" tall tires wouldn't fit under the original fenders anyway.

Okay, just to clarify,,, the fenders are from a Bolens 800,but I added a filler panel and a mount to mount them on the axles like a big tractor.

Those front hubs and grill guard look sweet. Love the round fender look too. All those shots are POTW worthy. Well done.

Awesome tractors Tim! The stretched wheelbase gives them an aggressive stance.

I'm betting that those would catch a lot of eye time at shows. Those are some cool looking Cubs. I think the front wheel placement is super looking. The entire package is awesome. I'm guessing all this was a fairly costly undertaking. Well done!

Thanks for the great comments, guys. I do get a lot of lookers and compliments at shows. Some people say things like "I didn't know they made one like that". Which is cool to me because that means my modifications look good enough to look like it could have been built that way at the factory. Unfortunately, I only have an S10 Blazer and a small trailer, so I can only take one at a time to shows. I wish I could take all three,,,,well all six actually.

Cub Cadet is a premium line of outdoor power equipment, established in 1961 as part of International Harvester. During the 1960s, IH initiated an entirely new line of lawn and garden equipment aimed at the owners rural homes with large yards and private gardens. There were a wide variety of Cub Cadet branded and after-market attachments available; including mowers, blades, snow blowers, front loaders, plows, carts, etc. Cub Cadet advertising at that time harped on their thorough testing by "boys - acknowledged by many as the world's worst destructive force!". Cub Cadets became known for their dependability and rugged construction.

MTD Products, Inc. of Cleveland, Ohio purchased the Cub Cadet brand from International Harvester in 1981. Cub Cadet was held as a wholly owned subsidiary for many years following this acquisition, which allowed them to operate independently. Recently, MTD has taken a more aggressive role and integrated Cub Cadet into its other lines of power equipment.
