Start with a big fortune.
That may be true.... But I don't have these old IH Cub Cadets for fortune or investments.....I have them for a peace of mind. These machines get the job done.

Back to the gas tank...Does it leak?

I betting it only leaks with liquid in it

Thats how the story goes Oak....

Funny thing is back in the 80's i could pick these things up with problems, fix the mechanicals and sell them easily for $1000 to $1200... even more with several pieces of equipment. As a teenager I made a fair profit on everyone I did.. But then the market dried up and the parts went up. Im not quite sure the newer crowd realizes how robust and versitile and old cub is!

Jay, I hate to say it but I always do, I think I've brought back worse to keep but you're no stranger to the rough ones either. That 105/125 (can't remember)that you picked up down here was pretty rough too but you found it a home. IIRC I had to cut down 2 trees that grew up in front and behind it to get it out.
Alvy, that 105 was pretty rough.. but it runs well.. and it donated it's hydro lift so a 100 could live another day! The deck... now thats another story!!

Cub Cadet is a premium line of outdoor power equipment, established in 1961 as part of International Harvester.
