Perfect. I agree that this is the simplest path forward.

At last, sunshine! Had the opportunity to work the rake today and the only questions is,,,, why did I wait so long to get one of these rigs!? Love this thing. What used to take up to 2 days hand raking was done in less than an hour.
The only bit of an issue was I'm used to the Farmall Cub's hydraulics in that there are adjustable stops to set limits on how high or low you want the lift to go and the CC is lacking that so trying to set the rake at the same height on each pass took some trial and error with imperfect results but I got better at it as time went on. Anybody ever come up with a depth control for one of these? Maybe something back at the hitch?

I also wanted to see if there was going to be any issue using the drawbar while the hitch was attached so I hooked up the mini-haywagon and took it for a spin, No problem between the wagon tongue and the hitch.

Hmmm, forgot about that. I'll have to give it a try. It's been a rough 48 hours. We took a lightning strike on Tuesday and it took out a lot of electronic gear. I've been pulling my hair out trying to recover and restore what I can so things are a little foggy.

I do have a hard time with how responsive the hydraulics are vs most 3 points, like my IH 284 or the neighbor's B-series Kubota.

Cub Cadet is a premium line of outdoor power equipment, established in 1961 as part of International Harvester. During the 1960s, IH initiated an entirely new line of lawn and garden equipment aimed at the owners rural homes with large yards and private gardens. There were a wide variety of Cub Cadet branded and after-market attachments available; including mowers, blades, snow blowers, front loaders, plows, carts, etc. Cub Cadet advertising at that time harped on their thorough testing by "boys - acknowledged by many as the world's worst destructive force!". Cub Cadets became known for their dependability and rugged construction.
MTD Products, Inc. of Cleveland, Ohio purchased the Cub Cadet brand from International Harvester in 1981. Cub Cadet was held as a wholly owned subsidiary for many years following this acquisition, which allowed them to operate independently. Recently, MTD has taken a more aggressive role and integrated Cub Cadet into its other lines of power equipment.
