Shultzie Eric and I have two 102's. Eric decided to put a letter after each to denote the difference. My 102 is designated D for Dad's and the other had belonged to my father so Eric designated it 102P for Pap's. Not quite the Da Vinci code but it works for us. Our progress so far is hood removal, Grill removal, S/G removal, wiring harness removal as well as everything under the dash, throttle and choke removal and finally engine is now out too. I did some cleaning of crud buildup yesterday on the front axle, frame and started cleaning the grill. I did this because if I did not get some crud off someone may get hurt with flying debris if we just started wire wheeling the whole thing. Lol

Good to see you at it again Eric! I had a 102 here once, and I want to say that the 241 had the big muffler that exit the right side, I see that your 102 has a pepper pot muffler. Just wondering if you had an early model 102. Sure will be nice to have looking like new!
Always be careful using the wire wheel. I now use a full face shield when I can. I will be watching your work on the 102!

And John, no it had one of the big mufflers on it 30 or so years ago but rusted off and that is what my Dad replaced it with BUT it will have the correct muffler when we are all done, thanks for asking. And I do plan to get a full face clear shield as I work for a welding company and get the good stuff at a pretty good deal.

Sorry I haven't posted in a while ( right after Christmas, up till about 2 weeks ago) I was having some neck problems so I haven't gotten anything done BUT now that things are going good my Dad and I got back to work. Here is where 102-D is at this point.
 We tore the drive line out of him this past weekend and here is what we found.  I knew the drive line was in need of some parts but I don't think I have ever seen a drive shaft totally shot like ours.  The clutch parts are on order and if the weather holds up for us we will be getting deeper into this project.
