Well I about have it all wrapped up. Put the rest back together yesterday and took it for a spin today. Got some odds and ends to finish it up decals, shift knob, button for lift handle etc. etc. then I guess it's on to the deck.
Before I start on the deck though I think I'm going to pull the hood, nose piece and side covers off the 1650 and blast it and get it looking better. It needs some decals as well so then I can get back on my larger projects mainly my 73 Ambassador for starters. I learned a lot about this little project like painting etc and about midway through I picked up a nice blast cabinet made by Empire and wish I had it from the start. It's really nice to be able to put a 48" long piece in a cabinet and clean up all sorts of projects. Next Cub restoration the whole frame, axle, wheels etc is going in the blaster for its so much easier. Guess I need a paint booth next
