Todd,
Found you deep into another project. Doesn't look like those spindle assemblies had been serviced for a day or to! Your clean up and restore looks good as usual!
Regards,
Chris

This isn't going to be a very exciting post. (no pics, so maybe it never happend)
Got my deck back from the blaster Thurs. they soda blasted it and sprayed sealer on for me, all for a grand total of two cases of Coors Light
They told me they didn't want to chance warping the deck, or blowing through one spot that was a little thin.
So today I cut out the thin spot and welded in a patch and got it ground smooth and primed the bad spot. Wet sanded the outside and put on two coats of color. Now in a couple days I'll wet sand it again and put on a final coat or two. Then start getting things put back together.
I'll do a better job of pictures next time. (slacker)

Great looking work on the decks. I have a 50" deck without the front wheels, it just has those loops. i think im going to get a set of the front brackets from extreme motor works. i think those are what i need, but they do not look like they have the jog in the top of the one bracket like the original set.

Good news, I got the 44C deck finished today!!!
I did mess up on the decals though, dumby ordered the wrong ones But I'm not going to remove them and re-order new ones, they will do just fine, by mid summer they'll be all scratched to heck anyway.
All in all I think it turned out pretty good. Anything is better than what it was
Man's got to eat, so a few venison hot dogs on the stove and we're good to go

Cub Cadet is a premium line of outdoor power equipment, established in 1961 as part of International Harvester. During the 1960s, IH initiated an entirely new line of lawn and garden equipment aimed at the owners rural homes with large yards and private gardens. There were a wide variety of Cub Cadet branded and after-market attachments available; including mowers, blades, snow blowers, front loaders, plows, carts, etc. Cub Cadet advertising at that time harped on their thorough testing by "boys - acknowledged by many as the world's worst destructive force!". Cub Cadets became known for their dependability and rugged construction.

MTD Products, Inc. of Cleveland, Ohio purchased the Cub Cadet brand from International Harvester in 1981. Cub Cadet was held as a wholly owned subsidiary for many years following this acquisition, which allowed them to operate independently. Recently, MTD has taken a more aggressive role and integrated Cub Cadet into its other lines of power equipment.
