When I pick the parts up they charged me $20 for the part + tax and only ordered me 1 so I would have needed to pay $20 + tax for the other one I needed. There is no breakdown on shipping so I paid tax on shipping also.

I made a complaint on Thursday and received an email that they got it and said it would be turned over to the Atlanta office. I have not heard anything yet but I will keep you all posted. I hope they make it right because their prices are pretty good on this stuff.
GO OAK!

If we would all stand up for what is right... they would undoubtedly find another way to screw us.

But, I admire your gusto and enthusiasm, we should all make our complaints when things aren't right.

Well, after 2 months of nothing from NAPA I sent another email and they finally responded.

They admitted they were wrong and that they ordered it from Kohler or another store and that is why the cost was so high. I guess the dumba$$ that took my order forgot to tell me that and that shipping would cost almost as much as the part. They never offered to replace my damaged gasket or offer me any credit.

Long story short, I get to keep my damaged head gasket, they keep my money but the next time I buy something he said to give him a call and he will get me a discount.

If they would of offered to replace my damaged one I would of purchased another at the price they advertise but my feelings on this is they basically didn't want to waste their time on a $20 order.

It will be a cold day that I ever step foot into one of their stores again.

I know how you feel! Unfortunately, in the SMALL town I run my shop in, the ONLY parts store is NAPA. We order everything in with free delivery from the next town over, and from the dealers 2Hrs AWAY! But, every now and then we need it NOW, and they are here. ANNNNDDDDD they get us, like the day I needed one gallon of G6 antifreeze..... $30 freakin bucks!! I could have had O-Reilly's deliver 2 for that price, with money left over! But, it was almost 5 and........

Yeah..... I get it......

Cub Cadet is a premium line of outdoor power equipment, established in 1961 as part of International Harvester. During the 1960s, IH initiated an entirely new line of lawn and garden equipment aimed at the owners rural homes with large yards and private gardens. There were a wide variety of Cub Cadet branded and after-market attachments available; including mowers, blades, snow blowers, front loaders, plows, carts, etc. Cub Cadet advertising at that time harped on their thorough testing by "boys - acknowledged by many as the world's worst destructive force!". Cub Cadets became known for their dependability and rugged construction.

MTD Products, Inc. of Cleveland, Ohio purchased the Cub Cadet brand from International Harvester in 1981. Cub Cadet was held as a wholly owned subsidiary for many years following this acquisition, which allowed them to operate independently. Recently, MTD has taken a more aggressive role and integrated Cub Cadet into its other lines of power equipment.
